Does anyone use these CDs? You have to know this song to understand
what I am talking about. I am looking for a cute game/movement to go
with the song "Yo me llamo". I was thinking of sitting in a circle
while passing a ball and singing along. Then after Juanita, Juan, and
Paco have said their names, whomever has the ball when it gets to the
blank part is the name we all say. However, this doesn't give many
students the chance to say their own name. How can I tweak this? I
would like to use it as an icebreaker way for me to learn all the
students names as well as getting them to vocalize it. Any ideas?
    Ayudame, por fa!!!!

Are you looking for only Spanish songs or would you do songs in English? If so, I love doing Willaby Wallaby with the kids.

I teach Spanish. I have never heard of that one! I do have Dr. Jean in Espanol. I love her! The kids love to do tu ti ta. They do it in English with their grade level teacher and in Spanish with me. (Well, the Kindergarteners mostly.) Are you familiar with that?

I'm not familiar with that. I am just thinking of a song that our Spanish teacher did with the kids at our school haing to do with their names. Please forgive me if Spanish is not correct...
    (All sing:)
    Como te llamas tu
    Como te llamas tu
    (Individual children sing:)
    Yo me llamo __________
    (All sing)
    Como te llamas tu

Can't tell you the tune but I think you could put it to whatever you tune fits maybe from a song that the kids might be familiar with?
