Our school uses a phonics program that is way too difficult and way too fast for many of my students. I am looking for a slower-paced and easier one, with lots of review and practice. Does this exist?

With many of my struggling readers, we used project read and explode the code.

I used the Payne Institutes. It is wonderful.

We use Wilson Language's Fundations. It is amazing for everyone, including struggling readers!

What do you mean by too difficulty and fast? Typically pacing can be adjusted by the teacher (i.e., don't move on to the next skill until the current one has been mastered). In terms of difficulty, do you mean it doesn't extend down to teach relevant skills for the levels of your students?
