Does anyone have any activities for this book? I am using it with my high reading group for workshop and would appreciate any activities that you would be willing to share.

    Thanks

    Melissa

Why not just form a book club of these readers? Teach them about accountable talk, 'fat' talking ideas, maintaining a conversation around an idea...

I have some starter questions for various sets of chapters I was just wondering if anyone had anything else that would keep them engaged since I am just working with them in group for 2 days per week and they are working independently the rest of the time.

How about assigning literature circle jobs?

Well, what is your goal? What are you trying to get them to gain by reading the book?

I have a reader's theater book with a script from SSFWS in it. The name of the book is "Stories on Stage"
