Hello everyone! Last week I submitted my application and resume for a Pre-K paraprofessional position. The closing date was the 21st. When I submitted, the HR personnel explained that she would first read the resume then send to another person, then another person, then if everything checked out I would receive a call from an interviewer. My question is do you think it's too soon to chalk it up as I didn't get the job? How long did it take for you to hear back?
Yes and no Yes move on and keeping looking...don't put all your eggs in one basket No- schools are busy this time of yr getting ready for start. They have many many apps to screen, interviews to schedule, employees and school sites to prepare. Keep applying anywhere and everywhere until you're told you're hired...
So I went to the interview Monday and it went great, very informal. Right when I got into my car afterwards, I checked my phone and saw I had a missed call. I called it back and lo and behold, another interview with a different school!!! Went there yesterday. Interviewed with two lead prek teachers and the assistant principal. I was very nervous but about an hour after it ended... I got the job offer!!! I'll probably miss the first day as I go to get finger printed and background checked tomorrow but I am soooooo excited. Thanks everyone.
