Should I create a personal website?

Do you have your own website? What should you do with your website? What platform is more professional? Are you mandatory to create a website?

 

All teachers have their own website, which is hosted through the district.

 

I saw some websites created by teachers come from other platforms, not from district.

 

I think it's a good way to advertise, I made a website on the Tilda platform. It's simple, interesting, and even the free version is enough. This is the kind of site I created back at university, it is mandatory for all teachers.
