I got offered a job on the 13th... had to go to the HR office to bring paperwork down, but I never signed a contract.

    Should I be worried??

I didn't sign my contract until like March or April.

You should have signed some sort of agreement though, even if it wasn't the actual contract. What did they have you sign? Have you been given your placement/assignment yet?

I signed my contract the day before school started. Even though I was hired before that.

Plus, the fact that they are hiring you usually has to pass at a board meeting first, so maybe they are waiting until after that, but it is nothing to worry about, just a formality.

I just found out my charter school is an "at will" employer. That made me just a LITTLE nervous!
