I hate wearing shoes (and socks!) I am always barefoot- even in the winter!

In regards to country versus city living (even though it's off topic), I just wanted to say that I have always lived in the city. Always had quick access to shops and grocery stores, events, farmer's market, etc etc... But I would LOOOOOVE to live in a mountainous area, far from annoying traffic and people. Just surrounded by nature.
I know I'm in the minority here, but I usually wear socks at home. The only reason why, though, is because my feet tend to get dirty when I'm barefoot, which bugs me.
This might be TMI/gross, but I've found that my BF's feet get dirty while mine don't. I think the difference is moisturizing.

Speaking of shoes, feeet, & all, I got a nice pedicure a couple days ago. With the tip, it was $41. Is that a lot? Got my nails polished blue for the 1st time. It's something fun for summer!
That seems like a whole lot to me! I've don't think I'd ever have one because I'd be uncomfortable, but...yeah, seems like a lot.
What's wrong with barefoot?
Me, it's either barefoot or socks.

That's about normal for my area! I'm actually going to have that done tomorrow.
My dog sheds a lot so really dislike walking around barefoot. I sweep and swiffer often but it still doesn't seem like I get everything. I walk around in socks sometimes but my feet are just more comfortable with the support of slippers. I try not to wear shoes unless we have company over.
Yeah, I got the works pedicure. At the particular place I went to, there's 2 prices. I went ahead w/ the more expensive one since I very rarely get them done anyway.
Not sure if it's high for my area or not since you included the tip in the total. What was the cost of the services without the tip?

$36. I'm not loyal to any one nail place. I need to go to places where I get coupons, but then, I VERY rarely get nails done anyway.
