Does anyone have any shoebox activities for an early childhood classroom with ages ranging from three years old to five years old? I would like for it to be some things they can do on their own.

I hope you get some good ideas. I'm looking for the same thing. I'm new to teaching preschool ages.

    Any kind of skills

I am looking for any kind of skills. Just something that they could do when they have some extra time. Math, science, writing, anything.

You can make a set of letter cards on large index cards. If you laminate them, and put a couple containers of playdoh in the box, the kids could make letters with playdoh. To help them learn each others names, you could have a set of pictures and a set of name cards. They could match them. Also, in the same box as the name cards and pictures, have a set of either magnet letters or water bottle caps labeled with letters. The kids could make the names using the letters. If I come up with more I'll be sure to add them.

The site you mentioned turned out to be a site that sold country style household items . I think you may be thinking of www.hubbardscupboard.org
