I just returned from an excellent conference in Los Angeles where I was a fellow (a foundation paid for my airfare). KAFE, the Korean Association for Educators, and USC planned a terrific week to learn about Korean culture and history. Lots of awesome teachers from around the country as well as local teachers from LA attended. I highly recommend it! I've also gone to Space Academy for Educators in Huntsville AL sponsored by Honeywell. Several others on this forum have done that too. That's how I heard about it. It was so great that I don't have enough words to describe it. I believe each state has an Agriculture in the Classroom program. That was also excellent. NEH has some great programs for history teachers. It's not too early to start thinking about next summer. Share your awesome teacher experiences here.
