Hi! After using edjoin to apply for a position (I'm an intern), I received an email that stated I've been screened in for an interview. It's tomorrow, with a small district :)
What does this mean? Is it a screening interview?

Most likely HR interview before the next step of the official one with principal.

Basic teacher questions (you can find those on this forum)
The final interview with principal will have specific questions related to job posting.
Most common questions in my experience are about differentiation and motivate students.

Went well! They said to allow up to two weeks for reference checks, etc.
So are they checking all of the applicants' references? I thought reference checks occurred with a job offer/right before. So confused! Can anyone clarify?

They called one of my references today! I also received an email from the director of personnel saying that they are currently in the "reference check stage" of the hiring process. I wonder what happens next...and I wonder, if I am one of the top candidates, what will narrow us down even further! Thoughts?
