I'm not even sure why my district doesn't have a S&S for their PreK standards!!:dizzy:
What do you guys use as a "guide"? Our curriculum is pretty fuzzy, it only gives a scheme of activities/themes you should use during the year...but nothing that states detailed goals that will/should be taught during a time period. Can anyone give any sites for a Prek scope/sequence for the year? For now I'm reverting back to using my previous charter schools' one, but it isn't really developmentally appropriate.:(

What type of Pre-K curriculum do you use? Is it something that is required by your school?

I have always planned my own curriculum and scope/sequence. I do use Head Starts outcomes as my standards. Many states do have a list of concepts, but not scope and sequence.

I just looked up NC PS curriculum. It is only a guide. I would take a look at other state sites. Don't forget, Head Start has a great list of concepts.

Thanks! I've looked up the surrounding states, they don't even have PreK standards let alone a guide. Definitely will look up Head Start and NC's guide!

Try looking at other states. A couple have great information. I can't remember which ones, but they are out there.
