School Supplies on Sale...WHERE??

I'm looking to stock up on binders, Sharpie markers and other necessities for cheap. When do the sales come out????

 

August, in my area!!

 

End of July and Aug around me.

 

Part of the reason I keep a summer job is for those sales. I could get high off all those cheap folders, pencils, sharpies and such!

 

In my area, prices start to fall around July 15, get even better by the first week or two of August, and then rise again for teacher appreciation day. By the first week of school, most of the things are back to regular price.

 

I can never find a cheap binder. That's what I'm on the lookout for this year!

 

I found binders pretty cheap the last two years on amazon

 

Say what? LOL, I am not even done with this school year yet. Easy, partner.

That's what I thought--we still have three and a half weeks left of school!

 

Yeah, I still have a couple of kids in denial that summer-- and final exams-- will EVER arrive. (though Monday is our last day of classes.)

SO NOT ready for back to school before this year even ends!

 

I thought everyone was done by the end of May

 

Try the end of June! I go until June 24. The last time I was done in May was college!

 

The last day for students is June 29th, for teachers, whenever we are ready after noon on June 30th.

 

Binders get expensive, quickly. Bulk is more convenient, but I am stocking up this summer on binders little by little from thrift stores. Goodwill has 50% off everything sales every other weekend and the others have sales as well. I can pick up good quality, heavy binders for only 50 cents or $1 each.

So, then, when does the school year begin?

Yes, be very thankful you are out now! haha Our first day of school is August 30th. When is yours? We also get a February week vacation, and had 7 snow days tacked on the end of the year.

 

Our (kids here) first day back is August 18th.

 

The first day of school for students is the day after Labour Day. Teachers have one mandatory day the week before that.

 

I once got .25 poly binders from Staples 3 or 4 years ago but I never saw that sale again.

 

For us it is in July/August. A few weeks ago Staples had a great deal online for binders but it is over now. I also use Goodwill and Garage Sales, but then again I am a garage sale junky
