Does anyone have a school wide motto or creed that everyone recites?
Our whole school recites a school creed and Pledge of Allegiance every morning with the Talk Radio and morning announcements. I'd like to have some type of classroom chant that is special just for my class to bond us together. And to include at the end of our news when it's our turn to film the news. Anybody have a good one? I heard one once something about "????? never let it rest, the good gets better and the better gets best"?

We have one and for the life of me I can't remember how it goes.
Here is one I found on the net.
    School Song

Our school song is sung to the tune of "It's a Grand Old Flag".

    THE GREENWOOD STARS

    WE'RE THE GREENWOOD STARS
    AND WE ALWAYS AIM HIGH
IN OUR HOMES AND AT SCHOOL AND AT PLAY!

    WE ARE HELPFUL, TOO.
    TO OUR FRIENDS WE'RE TRUE.
WE PROVE IT TO THEM EVERY DAY!

    IF YOU WANT TO KNOW,
    WE'LL BE HAPPY TO SHOW
    THAT WE MEAN EVERY WORD WE SAY;

    WE STAND THE TEST,
    WE ARE THE BEST!
    SO IT'S GREENWOOD,
    HIP HIP HOORAY!

    I really like this one
    Elementary School Song

Sung to the tune of “This Land is Your Land”

    This school is your school.
    This school is my school.
From kindergarten, to the fifth grade classrooms,
    From the kids and teachers,
    To the books and lessons,
This school was made for you and me.

We are from Roaring Spring --- Elementary School.
    And we love going here,
    Because our school is cool.
    Oh yes we’re braggin’,
    ‘Cause we’re the DRAGONS!
This school was made for you and me.

I like those. Of course, my kids are wondering why I'm singing in here.

We have a morning opening ceremony at my school every morning. We have a pledge that goes like this:

I believe in myself and my ability to do my best.
I will act in such a way that I will be proud of myself and others will be proud of me too.
I will not waste this day because this day will not come again.

We also have a slogan that goes like this:

    Good, better, best
    Never let it rest
Until the good is the better
And the better is the best!

We are the Gray Wolves and our motto is "We will be remembered by the tracks we leave behind."

We start every day with morning opening where we do the Pledge of Allegiance, 30 seconds of silence, sharing of weekly life skill, either the school pledge, motto, or slogan, and school wide announcements.

I also have a classroom pledge that says:

I pledge today to do my best
In reading, math, and all the rest.
I promise to obey the rules
In my class and in the school.
I'll respect myself and others too.
I'll expect the best in all I do
I am here to learn all I can
To try my best and be all I am

    Hope these help!

    Have a great day!

    Good, better, best...That was it!

I like your motto and classroom pledge too.

We don't have an animal mascot or logo or anything. I don't know if we have a motto but the tracks idea gives lots of room for creativity. Mmmmm......

We have a school pledge that the kids recite every morning after the pledge of allegiance.

"I promise to do my personal best in all of my work, to be accountable for my attitude, words, and actions, to treat other the way that I would like to be treated and accept the consequences of my behavior."

We're not a High Expectations school, but we do have a school pledge.

I am proud to be a Southside East Elementary Super Star.
    I am here to learn.
I will listen to my teachers and other students.
I will walk quietly at school.
I will respect myself, my school, and other students.

I promise to be honest, trustworthy, and an active listener too. I will do my personal best and give no put-downs to any of you.

Also, every room has the motto Be Kind, Be Safe, Take Care of This Place posted.
