I just had to share this...I am in a meeting for summer school today that lasted about an hour. I'd left my phone in the car. When I get out to it, I see that I have SIX missed calls in the span of that hour, at which point I immediately panic and think someone must be hurt or something. It's a number I don't recognize, but I check my e-mail and see that it's a school- "We tried to call your phone but were unable to reach you. If you are still seeking a job please call." I just thought that was funny, given that on here we talk all the time about not coming on too strong or "annoying" the school- guess they don't play by the same rules!
It's not- I already accepted another position about a month ago. I never applied to specific positions within this district (got a job before I got a chance to) but they must have found my resume from the general system.
I hope you called them to let them know you already accepted a position. Definitely odd with how many calls in the span of an hour.
So they wasted all that time calling 6 times AND sending an email when they could have just left one voice message!! Wow, I guess they had a lot of time on their hands LOL
