I am going to Savannah, GA and Tybee Island for vacation! Any suggestions?
Visit the lighthouse! It's awesome!

Take the trolley tour and spend time on River Street! Paula Deen's restaurant isn't worth the wait in my opinion. I'd much rather go back to her brother's restaurant (Uncle Bubba's)

I second GoehringTeaches recommendation. Paula Deen's restaurant was just okay, her brother's was MUCH better!
If you are not used to the "type" of beach that Tybee Island is, you might be disappointed. I am used to the beautiful white Gulf Shores beach, and Tybee doesn't look like that. I'm not saying that Tybee isn't pretty, it just isn't the same TYPE of beach.
Thanks! I have heard from several people that Uncle Bubba's was great. I am familiar with East Coast and Gulf Coast beaches. We love Folly Beach and Kiawah Island so I expect Tybee to be similar to them. I also heard that there is a Turtle Watch tour available. I may have to do that!

So jealous! I've been wanting to go there. It was on CNN's list of most relaxing places in visit in the USA! Enjoy
Definitely do the lighthouse tour. We went on a dolphin tour at sunset that was absolutely gorgeous (and saw several dolphins to boot).
Uncle Bubba's was definitely the better of the two restaurants but Paula's was good.
They also have several really cool shops down on the Riverwalk.

Check out the coastal islands if the weather is right:
