I am trying to find items to put in sand and water table for December and January. What are somethings you do? I have been searching online, but have not found anything I really like. When I get home from work I will try pinterest when I am able to access it. I just want to see what other teachers use.
-snowflake ornaments (get the flat ones and snip off the string), blue/teal/white puff balls, cotton balls, blue and white tongs -Freeze items in large ice cubes and put into water table -Polar animals and ice cubes in the water table -Snow in the table with tempera paint and brushes
What about pine cones, twisty ties ( they are on so many toys), cookie cutters, mini carrots (snowman noses), twigs (snowman arms), garland cut into small strips. I have never used these in tables but thinking of stuff that we use. Lol.
I love the cookie cutter idea. They could trace them afterward. Small plastic snowglobes would be fun, too.
Thanks Daisy. We have been making cookies here. Plus we just went through my gram's & she has a ton of cookie cutters!! Lol
