I'm going to a conference in San Antonio, leaving today, and wow! Expecting 100º and 70% humidity! Whew!

Yeah, it's hotter than fried heck here. It could easily go over over 100.....:(

I hope you enjoy your stay though!

Fried heck, that sounds so funny! :) I'll like the conference, but I'm glad it's in the same hotel in which we're staying!

Make sure you go to Mi Tierra. There's a trolley if you are staying on the river walk. You can walk but I wouldn't unless you are going for supper. The IMAX at the Rivercenter mall usually has seats available. The comedy club at that mall is usually pretty good too.

By the time you get on the river walk in the evening, it shouldn't be as bad. But take light clothing for your touristy times.

Their guacamole is spectacular as well!. If you have never been to Texas before, you at least need to stop by and see the Alamo.

Saw the Alamo today! It is HOT. My class got out at 3:00 and we walked to the Alamo. Very interesting. Smaller than I thought.

One of my coworkers wanted to go to dinner at Boudro's due to the guacamole, but the other had other ideas. We're going to La Fogata.

Oh, we went to Buc-ees and had bbq sandwiches last night. Good stuff! The store was as big as a Costco! The beef jerky was really good, too!

    La Fogata - yum!
If you're interested in adult beverages, check out the bar at the Menger Hotel.
    Buc cees - ha! They're a trip.
    Hope you're having fun.
