I saw them for the first time yesterday in WalMart. I was wondering if they worked. Next time I go to WalMart I'm going to buy some. I think they look fun.

I'm totally going to have to try these! I love the patterns!

I had my acrylic nails removed a while back and would love to have something like this!

They didn't fit my nails correctly. I was never able to use those "do-it-yourself" adhesive nails for the same reason.

    I think they're a really neat idea!

I tried them. They're pretty, but will take a tad bit of practice to get them smooth & flawless. I bought a different brand to try next time: http://www.incoco.com/

I picked up the "Cut It Out" ones this morning... can't wait to try them out (after yard work)!! I really wanted to try the denim, but they were sold out.

my youngest daughter uses these all the time. I can't tell you how many complements she gets on her nails. And like silver posted, they last and look good for a long time, even through my daughter's 45 minute daily hot showers :)

I saw them at walmart and I wanted to buy them, but I hesitated. I was afraid they wouldn't fit my nails correctly, or that they would peel off. I think I will go back though, you convinced me.

Too cute! I've never seen them. Going to have to check them out in the store to really tell the patterns better.

I've wanted to try them too. I'm worried because my ring fingers had a weird curved nail. I'm not sure if they will fit. I guess I can buy one and try it.

I picked up the zebra print ones tonight. I have a slight obsession with zebra print, and it's summer vacation, so I can get away with something a little more fun!

I just got some-I just got the pink glittery ones to try for now. They didn't have all that many pattern choices that I liked at the store I was at.

Those are the ones I wanted too, but I had graduation so I got the black lace ones instead - went a little better with my dress.

I think they were around $8 bucks at Rite Aid and you get at least 2 applications. If you have short nails like me, I used one strip for 2 nails so I will probably be able to get more out of them. I did get a little chip in one tonight but with the pattern you can't tell. Maybe not so much if it was a solid color.

Good to know! I have short nails, too, and never use polish because it chips off the same day. Ugh. I want to try these! Worst case, I can try them on my toes?

Good idea with using the same strip for two nails, silverspoon!

They come with 16 strips, and at my Walmart they were about $8.50

Polish shouldn't chip the same day if you are using a base and top coat. I usually get at least 5-7 days without any wear, then I get bored and change colors.

I've heard that the strips dry out quickly once you open the package, but I've never tried them.

Even with a professional manicure and polish application, it chips. I have flexible fingernails, I guess, so that is a problem.

Hmm. My nails are flexible also and that doesn't seem to make a difference.

Do you know what products they use? Products with similar formulas work best together; combining 3-free products (no formaldehyde resin, toluene, etc) with non-3 free can lead to chipping.

When I do my nails, I wipe them first with a cotton ball soaked in vinegar to make sure there is no residue, then I do base coat and I tap the brush against the very tip of my nail so the edges are covered too. These steps make a big difference in wear time. Keeping polish coats as thin as possible helps too.

    I'm a nail polish addict. :)

Wow, I went to Rite Aid last night and they were $9.75! I don't think I'll try them until they go down in price or find a sale or something. I have been using the 99 cent Wet n Wild LOL

It comes with a cuticle stick thingy and a file. Step by step directions also.

I'm going to try to get mine on today, I want to do my manicure after my shower though, so off I go!

I wish Sally H had more designs. The one I tried once was the colorful camo. I like the designs better on the site I posted above.

Don't you guys' mall kiosks sell these things? There's a LOT more designs! That's how I found out about the other brand & bought a set from there. :)

I'm going to cut the strips next time to accomodate my funky thumbs.

It's fun to try something different. They're growing on me, lol! It may take me another try to really get the application down, but it was pretty easy. I had a few corners that wouldn't stay down, but I put a dab of clear polish underneath and so far so good!

After reading this thread I bought these last night. I got the Wild Child ones. It took me a few nails and one or two wasted strips to get the hang of it but it wasn't too hard.

How do you use one strip for 2 nails? My nails are short enough that I could but when I take off the extra it gets all crumply and won't work for another nail. Do you cut them in half before using them? I'll have to try to use each one for 2 nails next time because I want tons of patterns and $8.50 isn't cheap for one use!

You could cut them in half before, but I attached mine without them wrinkling. I attached the one end to my nail and then used the stick to press them against the ends of my nails. A few I had to use nail clippers to cut.

I did end up putting clear coat over the strips just to be certain.

I just gave it a tug to stick like it says and it pulled off the top cleanly around my nail, and I just looked at it and thought, hmmm, that will fit another nail, so that's what I did. lol.

Go to redplum.com and search for a coupon! I got $2 off. I had trouble getting it to print at first (and you need to install software) but it's worth a shot :)

I thought these were neat but expensive. For the same price you could get a bottle of good nail polish (OPI, Essie) and use it much more than twice. If the price drops I might try them as they look cute in the patterns.

Meanwhile I have nailpolish on now that will not come off. I guess I did a good job with my top coat but now it is chipping but won't come off with remover!

For easy removal, soak a cotton ball, then secure it o to your nail with some foil. After a minute or so, the polish will slide off. This works great for glitter or messy reds/dark colors.

I just put on yellow polish. Not my usual since I go for vampy colors, but it was one of the new Chanel summer colors.

I used my coupon and had all 10 applied in 15 minutes. Looks great and was really easy. I added a top coat for xtra protection. I was able to use each strip on 2 nails, no problem.
