Does anyone happen to have a rug in their classroom? If so, have you run into any lice situations?

I ask, because in trying to use "use it or lose it" funds, I got a rug and some pillows for our reading area...but am not sure whether it's the best idea or not.

Lice need humans to survive more than 1-2 days and nits need our warmth to hatch. So, even if they got on the surfaces, each weekend is a reset. They generally won't leave the head anyway.

Oh, the things motherhood has unfortunately taught me.
