    Hello everyone,

My youngest son (23) just graduate college and got a teaching job in Atlanta. Any suggestions/resources I could pass along to him to aid in the roommate/housing search?

    I would not recommend craigslist!

Check in with his town/borough hall or local BBB
Maybe his school can direct him to an area where other young teachers live

Congrats on having a working kid! It's a great feeling! I've got two...an accountant and one in sales.:love: you did good, Dad!

Craigslist can be an okay resource depending on the area. Columbus's has a lot of students. You just have to be very careful. I know a few people who found roomies through CL.

I would ask where he got his job too. Someone there may know someone.

When I was in college we found our 4th roommate through roommates.com. It worked out really well for us.

I have used craigslist successfully to find housing a few times. Using common sense will keep you safe.
