How do you role play your procedures with your kids in the beginning of the year?

I think I am going to split them up into groups and give each group a scenario and give them 10 minutes to come up with a skit modeling good/bad behavior for the scenario and then share them with the class. I thought I'd print the scenarios on little strips of paper and put them in balloons and then they'd have to pop the balloons to read their missions - make it a little more exciting.

Anyone have a better way to do this?

Which procedures would you do? Here's my running list...

    - morning procedure
    -group work
    -packing up
-on the rug mini lesson behavior
    -accountable talk
    -lining up
-when you come back from being absent
    -good questioning/listening

Please help me fine tune this! It's for 4th gr...

I like this idea. I was thinking of something similar - I am going to role play the stuff. For example, I will have them all come into the hallway and pretend we just got to school. Then I will role-play the beginning of day procedures. I like to be very dramatic. Maybe I will let them do some skits later in the day, but I want them to see the correct way to do things first. (I have 2nd; you might be able to do it better with your 4th graders.)

    Maybe you could also do:
    lunch-room procedures
    quiet signal
    bathroom procedures
