At the end of last year, my campus decided to start using Robert Mackenzie's "Setting Limits" behavior management system. We had some meetings with Mr. Mackenzie before school finished but we're having our first real 'training' in a couple of weeks. I like SL because it seems so common sense - don't argue with kids, give them limited choices, have logical consequences, follow through - and I'm hoping it'll help me be more consistent in the classroom. I'm wondering if anyone out here in atoz land has experience with this program and has any suggestions, concerns, etc.

Never heard of it. I would like to hear more though. I'm still coming up with reward/consequence system. It's so hard to do without feeling like you're giving too much. When I was a kid (I'm only 25) we didn't get nearly as many rewards in the classroom as kids get today!
