I took my RICA today for the first time and I am a bit discouraged. I was wondering if anyone knew how strict they were about the word count for the written portions of the exam. By the time I got to that portion of the exam I was exhausted and for some reason didn't think that they'd be too strict about going over the word count. For example the case study was 300-600 words but I wrote a lot more. So I guess my question is, if anyone knows just how much going over that word count will affect my score?
Thank you to everyone in advance :)

Those word limits are advisory. My one concern would be that you were working too hard: it's difficult to imagine writing "a lot more" than 600 words on the case study and still have time to do justice to the rest of the test.
