Any suggestions on how to response to the RICA questions? I read several books on RICA but can seem to get a grip on how to answer the essay questions:yawn::whistle::whistle:

First, be aware that the fluency and vocabulary/academic language questions take very short answers - 75 to 150 words, which is fewer than people tend to think. The word analysis and comprehension questions take longer answers - 150 to 300 words.

Second, keep in mind the audience for which you're writing your responses: fellow educators who know how to teach reading and who are interested in figuring out whether you're ready to join them. In other words, plan on speaking reading-teacher-ese.

Thanks for responding! I feel like a cult, when you ready to join them... LOL I going to be ready to join them because I look at the price tag of the test, "Ouch, wow, darnnn!"

The reading party is not that difficult for me but I will work on what you said. :thumb:

Also answer the question, if it says give "two strategies". Give two strategies, don't give 3 or 4. :)
