First time posting: I'm desperately trying to recover test scores from 1993 when I graduated from a CA Mult. Subj. Credential Program. I'm in the process of applying for another position and need to show verified test scores from then. I have my CBEST already. Does anyone have experience or knowledge about test scores for becoming certified with a Mult. Subj. Cred. from that time period--and more importantly, how to recover tests for that credential as well as the CLAD?
I don't know about test scores from that far back. But if they were used to get a credential and CLAD cert, wouldn't that be recorded by the CTC and those certs available for view in your CTC account? And actually, the most important bits available to the public through the CTC search? https://educator.ctc.ca.gov/siebel/...+Search+Query+View+Web&SWERF=1&SWEHo=&SWEBU=1
Yes, I was hoping they would have the scores, but according to them, they don’t keep a record of the actual scores which the new credential agency wants to see. My first school district had a copy of the credential showing that I had met the examination requirement but didn’t have the scores either.
Curious which credential agency... But, anyway, I guess the only option is to go to the test administrator. Pearson takes down scores from the web site after two years, but you might be able to get copies from them. I'm not sure if there is a limit on that. Could be five years?
Trying to apply for a Texas credential.... I actually did contact ETS, which was the administrator for the MSAT, but they told me they delete their scores after 10 years and it’s been way past that at this point. Honestly, I’m very surprised it’s this difficult to retrieve scores, but I guess it’s my fault for not keeping better records. I’m open to any more suggestions you may have.
I wish I had more suggestions to give, but alas... I don't know about Texas credentialing requirements, reciprocity, or anything else that might be helpful at this point.
