So this week I took the CSET Math Subtest 1 and I am pretty sure I failed it and will have to retake it. I keep reading that you can retake it as many times as you can and see posts of people talking about how every subtest took them a couple of tries. My question is, for every retake, do I need to pay the test fee again or is it a reduced price or free? That seems quite expensive, maybe not the individual test, but even without the retakes it adds up quickly.

Yes on everything, as far as I have seen. I wasn't part of any program where I got vouchers or anything. Full cost very time. And yes, this stuff adds up.

Expensive AND time consuming. But that was the first one I took. I didn't respond to either constructed response. Well I did respond to one, but not in any way that made sense. Thought I failed, but didn't. So if you do well on multiple guess, you might still have gotten it.
