If you would like your cover letter read, please start a new thread. It is too confusing to try and help the first poster when all of a sudden someone else posts their cover letter on that person's thread.

I'm sorry, I am to blame for this. I'm a new user and I'm still learning how to use this amazing site.

    Sorry again,

It's not just you. A lot of people have been doing it. But thank you for next time posting it in it's own thread.

Could be, since you're a newbie member, that you're putting Web links in them - the forum software is set up to squelch such posts from newbies, in the interest of decreasing sales spam on the site.

Oh, and welcome to A to Z!

Aw, shucks, BioTeach. Every so often the system "nannies" us.

Is there anything that could be construed as personal information? names? phone numbers?

Make a flurry of posts (though not in Teacher Time Out) so your post count goes up. Once you've got a certain number of posts under your belt, you should be able to launch your own thread.

What about commenting on some of the other letters?

At this point you'll need to copy and paste, so whatever pretty formatting you have will go away, I'm afraid. Please be sure to remove all personally identifiable information.

It's been known to happen, educatew/passio. Your best bet is to launch a new thread with your letter - again, removing personally identifiable information (yours, school's, etc.) If you're not eligible to start a thread yet, find some threads in the various education forums, here, in the test takers' forums, etc., and comment on them.

sarahwilla, let me suggest that you start by looking at some of the cover letters that other A to Z members have posted, with the comments that some of us have made about them. Then try writing your own, and then we can be of more help.
