I wish these came in bigger sizes :) My oldest daughter is tiny but I don't think she would still fit into kids sizes. She would LOVE the Self-Rescuing Princess :)

"Show your work" is seen as a challenge either because it's all in her head (how do I show you neurons firing?)"

I LOVE that part of the description!!

If you have never shopped Think Geek before, they are an awesome company. We order from them all the time. We have only ever had a problem with them once - something fell behind the table and wasn't here on time when we needed it - and they more than compensated us for the situation. Another time, I ordered from them for Christmas and the package was stolen. I called fed-ex first, and they gave me the run around. Then I called Think Geek and they said they would ship out my order overnight and they would deal with the claim to Fed-ex directly. Their service is really awesome, and they have some really interesting gadgets, funny shirts, and other geeky items.

Ha! I am smitten. I will definitely be buying one for my daughter (I will just have to wait several years to give it to her...she's 2).

I wish I could find an adult version of the shirt "Too pretty to do math".

Nothing would bring me greater joy than to wear it to one of my math classes...

Do you think that would send a positive message?
Aren't you an SLP? What math class do you teach?

We discussed the math shirt quite thoroughly in another thread. I'm sure you could find it by using the search bar on top.

I think she'd be showing the irony of it because clearly she CAN do math. It would be seen as clearly tongue in cheek. My kids laugh at my Homer Simpson shirt that says, "English? Who needs that? I'm never going to England!" I think it's the same idea...

I can definitely see the tongue in cheek but I wouldn't simply because this item is very controversial. There is no sense in causing potential issues with parents or admin who might not take it in the same vein. There are tons of reports about this being pulled off shelves due to the sexist slant. It's funny in an ironic way but not worth it.

It's nice to see you have humor though. I'm sure your students appreciate this. Most WOULD get it. It's that one that might cause a stink that's not worth causing. It IS a sexist phrase.

Think Geek website might have something else that would fit the bill. They have lots of math and science related t-shirts.

My husband has a male student he always describes as "too pretty for math." The student would absolutely agree.

About six years ago, my husband had a girl who would tell him everyday that she was too pretty for math, but would routinely do well on his tests.
