I know I'm probably obsessing over this whole situation, but last week I interviewed with the superintendent, 2 principals and the district's curriculum/instruction director (all on Wednesday). They said the next step was reference checks, and none of mine have been contacted. They are the same 3 people who wrote my letters of recommendation. I had to attach the letters of rec. to the application (they use AppliTrack), so I know they've got access to them. I was told they'd like to decide 'very soon' after they've checked references.

Since nobody has contacted my references and it's almost the end of Monday...should I start to accept there's a good chance that I didn't get any of the open positions?

You need to give this quite a bit more time. They may not even start to call references for another week or two.
