Every single pitch. All season. Every year. We watch it all. My beloved is an enormous Red Sox fan. It's one one, so hopefully tomorrow will prove successful. Early game tomorrow, but we will still watch it all. Go Sox!
We went to Sundays game. Oh man was that a good game! It was around the bottom of the 7th my husband elbows me in the ribs and goes "Come on let's get a hotdog or something my belly grumbling." I told him you'd better go by yourself!!
Yeah, we got back home in the 4th inning after church, and then it was on! I officially have no fingernails.
Did you SEE that play off the Monster that gave us those three runs? Oh it was b–e–a–utiful! Incidentally... This week in my physics class we're talking about the physics behind baseball... It's almost as if the guy who designs these lessons is a huge Red Sox fan and happens to think that it's a fabulous way to talk about stacked forces...
My team is Cleveland. I felt they were the weakest link in the AL playoffs and did not get my hopes up. I also feel that the real WS is taking place right now in the ALCS. Any team the NL sends will be cannon fodder.
Oh I agree. I have to give credit where credit is due, Houston has been playing excellent baseball. Even if I can't stand that tacky orange they call a color. You couldn't even walk down town Boston this past weekend without seeing that tacky orange. But they've been playing good baseball. I'd say Saturday we weren't playing the game we could of been. I just think we could have played way better than we did. Sunday Boston stepped it up and played some real ball.
If you are watching now, beautiful grand slam by JBJ! And yes, we did see the beautiful monster run the other night. And, yes, people are texting and jumping and screaming all over my house as we speak.
I didn't watch the game! My hubs and I took the kiddos out for dinner. Then tomorrow night we've got a parent teacher night at school. Either way though, I check the score on my phone.
I know, right? I hope that neither cheats, but you never know. Integrity- this world needs it. Go Sox!
Hopefully, parent teacher night is over! Are you watching, because this is killing me....These long games and back and forth make for excitement but a stressful kind.
I don't know where you're at, Joyful, but there are SO many Red Sox jackets, hoodies, beanies and everything else! We're having a bit of a relaxed dress code day today to celebrate. Usually students aren't allowed to wear like jeresys but they relaxed it for today. They had decided that earlier in the week. They're even allowing us teachers to wear Red Sox t-shirts/hoodies/etc. So I'm taking full advantage with my long sleeve Red sox t-shirt & hoodie.
I hope Brewers make it. How can you not cheer for a team that celebrates making beer Regardless, I still think NL will get smoked by Boston.
I would tend to agree. The common agreeance is that AL is going to spank NL. Sort of like that spanking we handed out to Houston last night...
I am not in NE. I am in the South. However, we can order from the Jersey Street Store, still can't get used to that name, and we are cars decorated, decked in our gear and watching the future opponents tonight.
Heh. I'm close enough to Boston I've had a home run bust out my window at Fenway and was not inconvenienced in the slightest...
Super awesome. We love the area, and we visit every time we can, which is ALWAYS during baseball season.
Haha excellent! Yeah that baseball was stuck in my window! I called my insurance and safe glass and they were like holy cow!! I kept the baseball of course. This was of course....after the game.
What a fun souvenir! Do you know who hit it? If you don't, you can always imagine it was probably Big Papi!
You can't do better than Big Papi, unless, of course, you get some from the upcoming World Series from Brock Holt!
Haha! We're going to Tuesdays game so who knows!! Although I'm trying to get a new truck today so iunno I might be a tiny bit upset if the windshield gets smashed... Just a tiny bit of its Red Sox...
Y'all should see Boston right now. The skyscrapers some of them lit up their windows "Go Sox". With game 1 under our belts, Boston is absolutely buzzing like a hornets nest.
WOO HOO! We had confetti all over the house and jumping for joy and screaming and laughing. It was a great moment! Just went online and bought a ton of WS souvenirs for my beloved husband-the true fan- and our offspring, the mini fans. Will school be out for the parade Wed?
