    Hello,
I will be moving from teaching middle school math with an assigned curriculum to a private high school. I have been asked which textbooks I would like to use but I am finding this a daunting task since I haven't used any high school texts.
I would love any recommendations. My approach to teaching is guided discovery balanced with rigor in precision. I guess that sums it up, mostly.

    Thank you in advance!

I have been very pleased with the Blitzer precalculus book (I believe it is 4th edition that we have). I like it because it has plenty of application problems as well as the more "task oriented" exercises and is well written (my kids have commented on how well presented the example problems are). Also aligns well with our state standards.I mix it with the occasional worksheet from Kuta software.Out of all the math topics I teach or have taught, it is one of my two favorites. I strongly recommend it. (be advised, it is the only one I have ever used so sample size is small).
