bought hubby a new wedding band, lost his a few new pieces for the girls and a new outfit for me shoes for me and the girls
You are crazy to shop; I staying near south coast plaza right now, and there's so much traffic going in and out of that mall! I think I will do most of my buying online and return them in the store after the holidays, when people are at work.. heheh
Yesterday I did most of my shopping at the grocery store. I bought enough baking supplies to make 4 batches of doggy biscuits. I am giving them away as gifts (and also for my little guy). Today I have to get started on some HUMAN treats
I hate crowds too. Sat, I went to Knott's Berry Farm when they were having their Toys for Tots promo. You buy a $10 gift to get in the park & it was the most crowded I've ever been to an amusement park in my entire life. That mks me NEVER want to go to an amusement park on the wknds ever again. I'd rather go M-Th, but since they were hvg that deal, everyone & their grandmother were there, including me. It was fun, but I didn't to go on all the rides or shops I wanted. BTW, I love Fashion Island in Newport Beach, but I won't be going there during holiday time!
Day After Christmas Shopping! From Macy's & SteinMart, I got (all on sale): - hat - coat - sweater - custom blended makeup from Prescriptives
I'm done. There's not a thing in the world any of us wants or needs. I'm not buying anything but bread and milk till spring
I will be using gift cards to get myself some new flatware. Eventually I want new dishes, but there really isn't anything out there that excites me at the moment. maybe when the new lines start coming in for spring...
snowboarding woot! got new snowboarding pants from The North Face and a Camelbak ready for snowboarding =D
They are so useful going down the moutain, you don't have to stop and take your snowboard off to go buy the drinks, you can just drink while you're going down the mountain!
This past wk, I got: - new ceramic dog bowl & its holder where you can adjust the height - 2 pairs of Easy Spirit shoes - Todd English Hard Anodized By GreenPan™ 2009 Premier Frypan Set - Estee Lauder makeup - Lancome lip gloss in a new color! - 3 college classes worth of textbooks - college parking permit for the semester ($162 )
I am trying to "unpurchase" some pencil sharpeners I bought for my students. They are just little manual ones that look like lightbulbs, but the stupid things were breaking as soon as I handed them out! I had to e-mail the company twice before they even bothered to reply and now we are playing phonetag. They want my cc information so they can reimburse me, but shouldn't they have that information with the records of the order? They also e-mailed me a return shipping label but why? do they really expect me to collect all the sharpeners the kids still have? What about the ones that were thrown away when they broke? Of course their business hours end at 5:30 EST which means by the time I get home they are closed. I have called twice and e-mailed once today, but when I got home there was a message on my machine saying "Since I haven't heard from you we are closing this (what???) but if you still want to reimbursement you can call and we will help you." Seriously, I have, twice, and left messages both times, and you can bet I will NEVER do buisness with this company again. All this because of stupid defective crappy plastic student gifts the cost $10. I am so stinking upset right now.
- I had the pleasure of having 2 RARE weekdays off (yesterday & today), so I got breakfast both days...& I never eat breakfast otherwise. - dog food - 2 tops
I took a friend out to dinner last week as a thank you. I also bougt myself a new lap desk; I put the recliner back while the other was caught under it and snapped.
$100 worth of groceries and a dinner out with my hubby. Not too exciting. Today I'm buying plants for my mom & grandma for their birthdays!
- Fashion show tickets! - Godiva Chocolate - 2 tops - Makeup - Girl Scout cookies - Chipotle chicken fajita burrito
My mom & I went shopping today. My mom & I got 6 pairs of shoes (4 for her, 2 for me). One pair were Aravon brand. The other pair I got, isn't normally my style at all, but I'm willing to try something different (got it in the orange, store didin't have blue): http://www.aerosoles.com/product1.asp?P=BOGWILD
I bought some books from Amazon today for a child I interviewed for a college assignment the week before last. I asked how many books he had at home ,and he was so proud that he has three whole books! Really, he was beaming. Three books is all. My sister called while I was ordering them and I told her about the boy and his three-book collection and she didn't think anything of it, but if she could have seen his eyes she would have realized how sad it is.
1) bought 3 hours of golf lessons 2) Golf Shoes 3) Banana Republic Tees before lounging around at home (their tees colors never fade!)
DHE, thanks! It's from Diane Gilman. It also comes in 3 other colors, but as you know, blk & wht is very striking!
1 year Disneyland passes for my husband and I. We never splurge and we hardly ever shop for ourselves, so we spoiled ourselves a bit.
Saturday I bought: pair of workout capris, white linen pants, dress pants and black capris along with bare minerals Sunday dress and flip flops I am done shopping for awhile
2 dresses and a white pair of shorts. Pair of flip flops from old navy. I spent all the money I didn't have.
I've spent WAY too much money lately...I got my tax return and went a little crazy.... -ipod touch (i've been wanting one) -burberry sunglasses -clothes -a new purse -wii fit (another thing I've been wanting) -and about 8 pairs of shoes ** the rest of my tax return is paying a bill and buying a new dresser for my bedroom
I have been spending money lately... -new mattress set & a new bed set -couple of new shirts & capris (took last Friday off and was frivolous- went to Kohls and tried on just about every pair of capris in the store). Found a few I liked.
Plane ticket for my husband, 4 pairs of SwitchFlops (3 as gifts and 1 for me) Package of socks for the littlest Lemon. Boring stuff like food and dollar store junk.
I'm rethinking the two tops I purchased for going out purposes. The blue one looks great, except that it's too tight. There's my incentive to get back on the diet bandwagon. The pink one looks nice, but I just can't figure it out! The neckline literally plunges down to my cleavage, so you'd think a cami would take care of the problem. But no, the material is sheer enough that if I wear a white cami under the pink, you can totally tell where the cami ends and my jeans show through. I am so fed up that I'm ready to give it to goodwill. Apparently many people were stumped because I went back to the store and found a ton of these shirts on clearance. http://www.nyandcompany.com/nyco/br...d1120031&parentId=cat60042&subcatId=cat790002 http://s7d2.scene7.com/s7ondemand/z...ogenericzoom.swf&zoomheight=740&zoomwidth=610
I just bought a pair of tickets each for Cirque Viaggio AND the Golden Dragon Chinese Acrobats! I've seen the Chinese acrobats a few times, but not in a long time.
