I know most will hate me, but I'm done with my Christmas shopping. I need to get one more thing for a stocking stuff for dh, but other than that, everyone is taken care of.....and the presents are wrapped and under the tree. This has been the first year where we've been excited about the season since we've been able to buy everyone in the family something so we went overboard...OOPS!!
I am done shopping as well. But, mine are not wrapped. I ususally have a wrapping party with my kids. I supervise and put each person in a room so they can not see the others gifts.
Gymboree is quite possibly the most dangerous place on earth, but I bought the CUTEST outfits (all on sale!! I earned double Gymbucks!) for my new niece. I bought my SIL a pretty sweater, and finished up some last-minute stuff for my husband.
I keep thinking about how I'm almost done... then I remember the people who still need gifts. I also haven't started wrapping anything yet. Oh, and I totally get the last sentence-- DH and I were the same way this year. I know Christmas isn't about the gifts, but we've never been in a financial position where we could FINALLY buy nice things for our family. His family goes all out for one another and we always felt so embarrassed because we couldn't afford to buy them the gifts we did give (and we didn't buy anything for each other, which would lead to more questions from his family :unsure. Anyway, we did set up a budget and stuck to it... I just didn't think we'd spend all the money we budgeted.
I know what you mean lilmiss..and I'm here thinking maybe I need to get a couple of more folks gifts.
I just got back from the store with all my baking supplies--lots of chocolate chips and marshmallows for the batches of fudge I'm making as gifts.
I'm done with all my shopping except for my brother. My sister is supposed to be picking him up a gift card for Brewers tickets, but she hasn't made it down there yet (she goes to school in Milwaukee). If she can't get there this week, I'll print him up a "certificate" and then send the real thing once I can get it. Considering he can't actually use it until April, I don't feel too bad
Nothing is wrapped, except for the presents my mom and I ordered for my dad and sister when I was home for Thanksgiving. My wonderful mother wrapped them for me...
I have to shop for fudge ingredients tomorrow. I'm making a trial batch so I can see if it will be good to make for Christmas.
I have begun my baking, but having a hard time keeping ahead of the "samplers." I hide it as fast as I can in the freezer.
My grandson's teacher is allergic to gluten and eggs, so is getting some interesting homemade candy.
I bought stuff for our trip.... minus warm clothes for me which I have to get after I get paid on Friday and literally RIGHT before we leave!
I got crayons, markers, stickers and construction paper for my 3y.o cousin who loves to color, draw, make a mess.
I got my goddaughter a new outfit. I had also recently bought her a cabbage patch doll. =) Walmart $7 on black friday!!!
Got my mom some new lotions to go along w/ her CD
.... I still have to pick up the beer around the world (gift set of 8 from the german deli by me) for my dad, and my boyfriends step father, and we have to figure out what we are getting his mom. Other than that... I am done. =) And now that it's wrapped and under the tree, I have to find something to put it in to get it in the car to bring up north. Bleh.
I want to pick up some beer from around the world, but don't know if I can make my way into the crowds.

This coming wk, I plan to get a lot of little things from Target, a couple of things from Bath & BodyWorks, a DVD movie, some Lotto tickets, dried persimmons, & a convection oven. Then, I'll be done Christmas shopping.

I hadn't even thought of this until just now! Shopping day tomorrow!

I did the last of my shopping today.
- kitten calendar
- decorative notepads
Christmas shopping is long done and wrapped.
I have the turkey for Christmas dinner, but still need the fixin's.
Last night, we spent over $700 on clothing, toys, games, and other stuff for kids in our school. We teachers collect money for a Christmas fund, then pick an evening to go purchase gifts for families that need help. It was great! Old Navy and Walmart were kind enough to give us a 10% discount...we bought a TON of stuff!
KC~that is nice to do!!

I just bought some new Columbia snow boots. The ones I have don't keep my toes warm at all. My next big purchase will be a new set of tires for my car, but this will have to wait a couple months.

I got a black & white flower jewelry set consisting of a necklace, earrings, & bracelet. Also a ring & other earrings.
Can you use giftcards when shopping online???
^ You should be able to! When you get to the page where you pay, there should be an area for you to type in the card number on your giftcard.
Got 2 for the price of 1! Not bad for purchasing
it @ one of those overprized OPEN ALL NIGHT places.
Can't let the eyebrows connect again!
I went a little crazy at the Bath & Body Works sale yesterday. I went in looking for one thing (they didn't have it) and walked out having spent nearly $50 on other stuff!
I have a gift card for Victoria's Secret and I know they are having a big sale. I probably won't make it to the mall this week so I thought I could order online.
I can never buy just one thing at BBW.
I bought a digital camera last night on a whim.
I got two gift cards for Christmas so this week I bought: 2 pairs of work pants, a pair of PJ bottoms, 2 pairs of jeans, 2 hoodies, 4-5 shirts.
I know for a fact that you can order online with a giftcard from VS. I've done it before.
YAY! Just put my VS order in for 3 bras and 3 panties! Even with the sale the total was almost $100
Considering that just one of their bras often times runs $40 dollars, I'd say you did quite well! VS has the ONLY underwires I have ever found comfortable.
The undies were 3/$30 and the bras were $20 each. I could have gotten the cheaper underwear but the particular style I picked out usually lasts longer.
Today: flameless candles, Wii resorts, and a lamp all from Target, and pillows from Homegoods for our couch
What are Wii resorts?
It's a new set of games for the Wii. It looks pretty cool!
I must have gone to Target 5 times in the last 3 wks. It's one of my favorite stores & I always buy something every time I go. I can't stand Walmart.
