I am just ready for ANY kind of football. Second week of high school is tonight. I haven't watched any preseason NFL because my team doesn't ever win preseason. College I just started watching a few years ago. Love football!

I'm probably in the minority, which is really BAD living so close to Ohio State that I can see "The Shoe" when the leaves fall from the trees. The fans around here are very in your face, and I know one person who had a beer bottle broken over his head when he didn't return a screamed "O-H!" with a proper "I-O!" He might have used a U and an F in a different order, but still.

That being said, I love being able to go shopping or to bars / restaurants that don't have televisions.

    I must disagree with this.

If every team has a great season, then how will MY teams make the Playoffs and win a NC?

Even though both of my schools - Michigan and Vandy - have no chance; I can still dream ...

Rooting for the #1 rated team, I am excited! (But I definitely understand cat's post, having grown up in a suburb of Columbus and going to law school at OSU.)

I don't think a great season means everyone in playoffs...if everyone's season is improved upon or lessons are learned, no big arrests or what not after games, if players don't get career ending injuries...if we all have fun supporting our teams that's what a great season to me!!!
