    Hi
    Which reading program do you all like? I am looking through the Scott Foresman Reading Street materials, and like what I see. I was looking at Treasures, too. What do you use? What do you like/dislike about your program?

    Jd, do you have a choice in which program to use?

    My district uses a reading and writing workshop approach...no packaged reading program. Students are all reading at ther own levels of fluency and comprehension, but working on similar strategies. Our classrooms each have leveled libraries from which students 'shop' for books each week. Teachers confer with students frequently.
    I :love::love: this philosophy

    My district uses the same approach as czacza's. We base our literacy off of Fountas and Pinnell.

    Yes, we are choosing a program.
