Reading and Writing Conference Note-Taking

    Hi! What do you use to record your findings from conferences with your students? Are you required to use a specific sheet? Or do you use post-it notes? Notebook? Pad? Just curious.

    I can't remember the specific source but when I used to conference like that, I had a separate page for every student in a binder. It was something off of Pinterest or TeachersPayTeachers. Basically it had columns for date, compliment, and what to work on next for the student. It was easy to use and worked well... I'd go from desk to desk while they were writing and try to check in with a few students each day.
