Can anyone suggest an online source for intermediate readers theater scripts? Have you found a play the kids really loved? I'd like to use the scripts as a center, so I'm looking for short plays with casts of 4-6 players.

Thanks! I'll start checking these out right away! ... Do we know how to spend our summer breaks, or what? ;)

Where is your site? I'm thinking googling "MissFroggy" might not get me there. :haha:

I bought a kit last year from Lakeshore Learning. The box has 32 different stories with roles for 4 students. The kids really enjoyed them! They have kits for grades 3-4 and 5-6. It won't let me post a link but if you go to Lakeshorelearning.com and type in readers theater kits it will take you to the set I purchased.

    That's perfect! I love it!

However, if I spend one more penny on my classroom, I might end up in bankruptcy court - if not divorce court!

Your post inspired me, though. Maybe I could make and laminate something similar on file folders. Sigh. It kills me that Lakeshore is selling EXACTLY what I want, ready-made. I guess I could just wait a few weeks to buy it.

    Thanks for the suggestion!
