    UGH!

I'm at work, emailing my husband back-and-forth, and I could almost cry.

We are going to a wedding on Saturday, and it is out of town. His mom is staying at our place to take care of our puppy. I just learned that his sister is also coming to spend time with his mom. Fine, no big deal.

We will be leaving town at 4 to go to the wedding. I have 2 big projects due next week for grad school. My plan was to work on them on Saturday before we went to the wedding. I have been bugging my husband ALL WEEK to call his mom, and please ask that she come in the afternoon (1 or 2 at the earliest), so that I could work on my grad projects.

He just informed me that both his mom and sister are coming at 10:00. He will not even be home, because he is helping a friend move. I just lost all of my grad work time. Not to mention, I have to find time to clean the house either tonight or tomorrow morning.

Sunday is out, because I have tons of work to do for school. I can maybe spend a little time on grad work, but I had so many other things I had to get done. :(

Leave the key with a neighbor and go to the library. Don't think twice about it.

That's actually what a co-worker suggested. Didn't even think of that!

Fine time for your husband to help a friend move. I would think his priority is helping YOU, his wife out, so he can clean the house & entertain his own mom & sis! He needs to get out of that one & tell his friend that there are emergencies back at his own house he needs to tend to!

Yes, do go to the library if you have to. YOUR grad projects are THE priority!

It's his family so I would have said, "not my circus, not my monkeys". If it was any other reason I would say suck it up but grad school work is important.

Your husband should have warned them about your graduation projects. :(

He ended up calling her back, and telling her to come later. I just wished he would have done that in the first place.

I worked on grad homework from 6am to noon, and they came at 1.
