    Hi school age teachers,

My partners and I got this upcoming project (we are still in education program). The project requires us to find a school and ASK the school's teacher/supervisor about field trips (for example, how do you plan trips?).

    We are wondering...
    1. What is your communication preference?
    2. What type of questions we cannot ask?

    Thank you for reading~

I think communication preference depends on the teacher. I'm not sure about what type of questions you cannot ask...it's just information about a field trip right?

Ask away, this group will tell you if you are out of line or need to be more clear.

I'd love to help, but I'm not sure what you mean. Are you asking about how we communicate to parents, supervisors of the place you are visiting, or both?

I think the original poster is wondering how she should ask a teacher questions about their field trip procedures-a call, an e-mail, stop by the school...

I can see how this would be very tricky if you do not know the teacher personally. Does it have to be a local teacher, or could you ask US your questions? I don't think you should have any concerns about illegal questions-most teachers will not mention students' names anyhow.
