I want to compare weather forecasts with my students - what they said it would be vs. what it actually is. Since the the weather forecasters don't actually do this, I want to take a screenshot of the the forecast and show it to them tomorrow.

Can you just do a "Print Screen" (one of the buttons near the 9-key pad) and paste it into a Paint document?

There is a link that allows you to take screen pics of anything. The program is MWSnap. It's a free download (just google MWSnap) and a GREAT tool for any teacher!!!!! :thumb:

Sarge, if you've got a Mac, you should be able to print the page as a pdf, or you can look for the Grab took and save all or part of your screen as a TIFF.

Or you can download a small free program called fraps. Fraps is like having a camera that records everything that is happening on your screen. You can take video of whats on your screen or still images and record the sound of any thing that is playing on your screen.

    I love it,
"I have even left it running, cloaked in the background, record what my kid was up to when she was supposed to be doing her homework, it was as if I left the room and 30 seconds later she was on facebook for 30 minutes and she still has no idea how i knew specific details of her internet use" (Carry, a cohort of mine)

Anyway, it might be worth a try.
