I am taking a class right now at the university in order to obtain my secondary science credential. We are right now discussing the CAHSEE on blackboard. An art teacher just wrote on blackboard about all of the things he plans to do to help his art students prepare for the CAHSEE.

I was wondering, in your school district, are you guys held responsible for how the kids do on the CAHSEE? Do you feel pressured to work with them and improve their ELA/Math scores, even though you teach a different subject?

We don't have CAHSEE but yes we are held responsible in ALL subject areas for Numeracy and Literacy teachers as we are ALL numeracy/literacy teachers.
