I'm looking for a textbook or curriculum or other resource to teach a general psychology class to high school students. I have extensive background in mental health, but need something to help me organize it all into a teachable structure. I work for an very small alternative school so don't have much curriculum support. Does anyone have a book or resource they really like?

Not my area at all, but do you have access to a college textbook that you could scaffold for students? I'm just thinking this might be something that exists at the college level more readily than HS.

Sure, I could scaffold the right book.

The psychology textbook I have in my bookcase is by Sandra Hockenbury et al. She seems to be the expert in making this science understandable.

Not sure about a curriculum, but Introduction to Psychology from Cengage Learning(publisher) is a good textbook to start off with.
