A local school district (the one I did my internship with) has invited its teachers and the teachers of the four surrounding districts to a free Techonology Day, which will be held tomorrow. I quickly signed up when I heard this. I was looking forward to getting a refreshing on Promethean Boards and Google classroom. (Plus - it counts toward Professional Development!) Then, this morning happened. . .since 8:00 a.m., I have been vomiting every two hours or so. At this point, it's really just bile coming up. I also have a major headache, a major backache, and am having these weird chills followed by sweating. I think it might be food poisoning or a virus. Either way, if I'm like this tomorrow, I don't think it is wise to go to the Technology Day and sit in sessions for 1-2 hours at a time. I think I'd be better off going to a doctor. If I can't go - are there places online where I could view or read tutorials?
Promethean Planet has online PD. Not sure about Google classroom. Hope that you are feeling well enough to attend the training.
I am a Google Certified Educator and the Google Classroom trainer for me school. Feel free to PM me, and I'll be glad to send you materials, do a private lesson, whatever you need. Google Classroom will change your life. I also know a little bit about Promethean, don't actually use it that much, found it too time consuming for me.
