Our principal is retiring this year (after 28 years just in our school.) Some of the staff are planning a secret celebration after our K/5 graduation assembly next week. Each grade level has been asked to recite a poem or something. Does anyone have any ideas or poems specifically for principals? My kids really like acrostics and asked if I could find a principal acrostic poem for them to split up into groups, but I can't find anything!! Help!
Help them write something using "thank you", "principal" or some other message. It would mean a lot, and if done as a class effort you could probably turn out a pretty impressive piece.
