I am certified to teach K-5 and special ed. A recent NJ law just passed stating there must be mandatory preschool for september 2009. I would like to teach preschool, therefore I must take the early childhood praxis exam. Has anyone ever taken this? Easier/harder than the reg. ed. praxis? What type of questions? I looked on the website and got sample questions but just wondered what you guys thought about it. thanks!

Hi, I'm in NJ as well, and as far as I know, you need an early childhood degree, not a K-5? Am I right? And the pre-k praxis, you can find all sorts of books and websites, shouldn't be that difficult. Have you taken the k-5 praxis, 10014?

Here is a website that offers tests for $57. I haven't purchased any yet, so I can't say how good they are. But if you're interested, scroll all the way to the bottom and locate the Pre-k Praxis
