So, I'm trying to come up with a cute way to announce to my class that I'm pregnant. a few have mentioned to their parents that they think I'm pregnant, so I know I need to tell them soon. I was thinking a book about finding out your teacher is pregnant would be a great way. Does anyone know of any books along those lines? Very specific, I know!! haha

What grade do you teach? When I was pregnant with my son, I told my class of second graders around 14 weeks and they all knew already. When I was pregnant with the twins, I told my 3rd graders at 18 weeks and it was obvious, yet they were all shocked. You just never now. Be prepared to answer questions about when you will be on leave. They will be very concerned about that if it will fall during the school year.
I have no idea for books to use, but I told my 5th graders last year with a game of Hangman. I found a website to play it online and projected the game on the Promenthean. I typed in something like "Mrs. X is pregnant" - they loved it! Oh and I agree that the next question will be about your being gone. Congratulations!!
