I feel crazy. I swear! I just wanted to run these symptoms past ya'll and see what you all think. Is it a possible pregnancy or just really crazy PMS?

I've been feeling nauseous for a week (off and on all day), very hot and flushed when I wake up, my back and upper chest have been sore to the touch for several days. I totally forgot to write down my last date of menstrual cycle so I know I'm close to this month's cycle but not sure if I'm late yet or not.

I took two pregnancy tests earlier this week but both were negative. I'm trying to decide if I'm just going crazy and having very weird PMS or what. I had my tubes tied after my second child 2 years ago when I was 23. I've been reading on line since I've started feeling this way. Apparently the women who are more likely to get pregnant after a tubal ligation are the ones who had it done when they were very young.

So, in ya'lls experience...am I crazy? Is this pregnancy too early to be picked up on a test? Or is this insane PMS? Or is it something all together and I'm just sick?

I know you all aren't doctors and if this continues, I will be going to see a doctor. But I wanted to see what ya'll thought since we have a ton of experience across this board.

    Thanks!:)

I say if your period's a week+ late and you're still getting negatives, see the doctor. But it may just be a weird cycle.

I'd say that the negative tests are probably very accurate. The thing about those symptoms is that they can be indicative of a hundred other things besides pregnancy. I bet that it's just a weird cycle. If it persists, make an appointment with your doctor.

If you possibly aren't even late yet, you could get a negative test when you are really pregnant. Most are not accurate until a couple weeks after your missed period. But I would guess that it is PMS. Every once in awhile, I will have a doozie of a period where I just have every symptom in the book, and severe at that.

Way back when in 1980, my mom got pregnant with me after having her tubes tied. I'm sure things have changed a bit, but its probably still possible. I'd wait a few more days and if you are still having the symptoms, test again. If it continues to be negative but you still have the symptoms, call the doc. Good luck!

I'm definitely a little bit worried. I took another test today and it was still negative. I'll wait another 3-4 days and take another test if nothing has happened. My husband has even commented about how I've complained about different things (mainly the nausea) and said things about maybe I'm pregnant.

I'm hoping that its just really bad PMS and me being slightly bit by the baby bug after a good friend just having hers a week ago. I just feel like I'm going nuts from thinking this way!!

If you are really worried, go see the doctor that did the TL. I did, and since I got pg, I did not have to pay for anything.

My grandparents had 3 more children after my grandfather had a vasectomy (my family calls them the "milkmen" kids:))

See a doctor, get a blood test.

My son was a happy surprise because. My tubes were tied but due to my age at the time, they would not cut and burn them but it was definitely done at his birth. By the time I went to the doctor I was almost 10 weeks pregnant because I never thought I could get pregnant again.

Turns out I am not pregnant. I am sad but relieved at the same time. I must have just had really crazy PMS mixed with some baby blues that drove me to craziness. Lol. Thank you everyone for your support!
