    Hi
I'm going to be teaching a combined preschool/kindergarten class. Finding out the kindergarten standards and benchmarks was easy, but what about preschool? Are there set standards such as national standards? If so, where might I find these?
Because I have a curriculum to plan, I'm basically looking for general concepts that are covered in PreK. I don't know if this is available anywhere, but it would be great to see a curriculum plan somewhere showing specific concepts, what point in the year they are covered, etc.
Thanks to anyone who can help!

We don't have a curriculum map- started creating one last year, but haven't gotten through with it yet.

    We have state standards.

You can google you state standards, if that comes up blank you can see ours. http://www.isbe.state.il.us/earlychi/pdf/early_learning_standards.pdf

Also googling your state and creative curriculum/ teaching strategies gold might show you some common pre-k standards.
