Please pray for my daughter. She is at a crossroads in life and I fear she is making some decisions that are ultimately not the best for her. I am very nervous that she is making a big mistake, and I am just sick about it. Please pray that she does what is best for her, and that all other distractors will fall away. Thanks SO much!!
Oh Beezus, I will be adding prayers for your daughter to the same ones I am praying for my own 19 year old daughter who seems to be going through similar events. I pray about this every day and will add your daughter to my daily prayers. God will get her and us through this time
Thank you INTeacher! I'll also add your daughter to my prayers as well. I seem to pray constantly nowadays. It's heartbreaking to imagine she may have to suffer the repercussions of her mistakes.
Thanks so much stg the choices she has made over the past year has made her life so much harder than it ever needed to be and caused serious trust issues between us. She can't seem to understand she needs to be accountable for all her actions - good and bad- and start taking responsiblity for her own life. Between this issue and my youngest's medical issues, it has been a very trying summer.
Beezus and INteacher - my 18 year old niece is going through the same thing. I will add your daughters to my prayer journal.
How sad that so many young women are struggling with issues. I will also add your niece and family to my prayers, etcetera
Thank you all so much! I am just so sick over this situation with her. After all of the things I have been through this year, this may do me in. I am praying for peace for myself in all of this as well. I pray God guides these young ladies and puts those in their paths who will be good influences.
well; people, here's another one. Things are better with my daughter, but she really needs the Lord. Kids think they're invincible and put themselves in situations that I would never have done. Anyhow... I know God knows and is in total control of everything. I'll remember your young ones too. Blessings for His peace in our lives.
WOW; I've been asking the Lord to bring good and Godly influences in my daughter's life...to bring that one friend. Let's continue to pray this way.
Just a reminder... Please pray for these young ladies that God will make sure that they are moving toward what is best (His plan) for each of them. (I know this is selfish...but may He please make it swift!)
TeacherSandra - I haven't been able to log in because I forgot my password after my computer crashed, so I just saw your post. I will make sure to include your daughter in my prayers. I know that with all of us agreeing together and praying the same way, we will all see breakthroughs soon!
Thank you so much, etcetera and everyone else. UPDATE!! My daughter informed me that she is going to apply at a Church day school!!! I was shocked and floored as she has no desire to pursue education in college...she's not going to school in the Fall and wants to work, work, work during the Fall semester. I was floored and then thought, that perhaps...she will meet some great influences there at the Church dayschool. Speechless? Yes, and thankful. So far, this is where she's headed.
Wow, TeacherSandra! That does sound promising! I am continuing to pray for all these young ladies....
TeacherSandra, I will pray that the school will work out and be a strong, positive influence. I'll add these young ladies to the similar prayers for my 22-year-old brother, who is also looking for direction and really struggling with the "who am I and what's my purpose?" questions
Please add my teenage daughter to your prayers as I will pray for all of those mentioned here. I too am praying that God will send a good friend into her life soon. Thank you.
I am really thankful and will continue to pray that there will be one "good" friend and/or seed dropped into the hearts of our kids. I have a 14 yr. old son and we openly discuss the influences that are out there and the choices that we make daily. It also doesn't hurt to watch Judge Judy in the afternoons. Alot of the cases involve "friends" suing "friends".
I am also praying that God will keep them all safe while they are navigating this stage of life. I don't know about y'all, but my niece isn't making the most intelligent choices and I just want her brought through this safely.
