For 11 years I worked with a very sweet lady. Her two year old grandson is in St. Jude's fighting a brave fight. His specific issue right now is his oxygen levels. They aren't sure what is causing the levels to not level ou. I'm attaching info from a post made by his mom. As you read it, remember that she was very pregnant when they came to St. Jude's. She delivered while Sam was there, and their baby girl is back home. This family has been through a lot. (He's the little man in my avatar and that Diznn's refers to.) the doctors are going through different possibilities, the worst case is that's it's a disease from the chemo. If thTs the case then discussions will begin about quality of life. I cannot even begin to fathom how a mom of a two year old can even have to consider that. So, please, send up prayers for them all. I was just going to do a thread on this. I was in tears reading his mom's post... my heart breaks for his parents!!! UGH!!! Praying so hard for all of them right now!!! Wearing our Samstrong shirts tomorrow!!!

I am bumping this... Because Sam has a hearing test tomorrow & the test his parents are anxious about, MIBG scan Friday morning. Please keep Sam in your prayers & good results for test & scan!!! If you have a samsrong shirt wear it Friday!!!
FYI... Scans came back all clear. They need finish protocol, but a huge step. Keep them in your prayers. And thanks for the prayers!!!
Bumping this...big day... Scans were done today!! All clear!!! No mo chemo parade for this little Tiger!!! I am not a family member or even met them....but I want to thank you all for keeping them in your prayers!!!
Count me in. So much, so young, and the stress on the family must be overwhelming. Please keep us informed. In my prayers and thoughts.
I bet his family is over the moon! You have to pray that the good news stays good, and that there is a "new normal" with this news.

Thank you so very much for sharing the video on this thread. I couldn't help but note the curls in Sam's hair, and how healthy he looks. Hope is, indeed, alive.
I know funny how much they look alike. I will say after my aunt went through chemo/radiation...her hair came back darker & curly.
I am bumping this... Sam and family are at St. Jude's for MIBG scans tomorrow at 10. They are asking that you pray for no cancer cells to light up or show up in bone marrow. I am asking for you to pray for his parents as well as they wait for these tests to be performed and for results. Thank you!
I wanted to update you on Tiger Sam… the MIGB scan came back clear. His parents said they are so thankful for every prayer and ask that you keep him in your prayers…tomorrow he has CT scans and MRI…praying those are clean as well!!! I personally want to thank you here that prayed for this family!
Just wanted to update you once more time on Sam… his MRI & CT… give him the No Evidence of Disease still. His parents again thank all who prayed.
